In addition to housing local government offices, the County Hall is also home to a collection of art, spanning a period of one hundred years or so, which comprises works by twentieth and twenty-first century Irish based artists. The collection includes pieces by both emerging and established local artists, as well as a large number of works by historically significant and internationally renowned figures such as Mainie Jellet, Edward Delaney, Mary Swanzy and Pierre Bonnard.
